Pinegro Australian Standards Potting Mixes

Pinegro is certified by Australian Standards for manufacturing potting mixes. All mixes are well composted and meet the 23 tests required for physical and chemical criteria AS3743 (1996) which is the potting mix testing manual of Standards Australia

Pinegro Premium Grade Potting Mixture (Red Logo)

Pinegro Premium Potting Mixture has physical and chemical characteristics that make it suitable for most plants, except for phosphorous intolerant species and acid loving plants. These types of plants require specific potting mixes with the Standardsmark logo. The Pinegro mix is a high quality potting mix which retains more moisture and is easier to re-wet if let dry than lesser quality mixes. Pinegro Premium Potting Mix contains slow release fertilisers that assures adequate plant growth for most plants for three months after the date of manufacture. After the three month period, a balanced fertiliser should be given to the plants to assist their further growth.

Pinegro Regular Grade Potting Mixture (Black Logo)

Pinegro Regular Potting Mixture, as with the premium grade, has physical and chemical characteristics that make it suitable for most plants. The Pinegro mix is fully composted and therefore both safe and non toxic to plants. The regular grade mix is an excellent base to which slow release or soluble fertilisers should be added in order to provide your plants with optimum growing conditions.

Examples of plants that both Pinegro Premium potting mix and Pinegro Regular potting mix are suitable with:

Bamboos, begonias, chrysanthemums, clematis, conifers, fruit-trees, fuschias, grasses, heaths, hedges, hibiscus, hostas, irises, pelargoniums, primulas, roses, shrubs, trees and vegetables.
