Pinegro is proud to be progressing the construction of a new state of the art Organics Recycling Facility at Morwell — a major step forward in organics recycling capability for Victoria.
Designed to process more than 60,000 tonnes of organic material per year, the facility uses advanced in-vessel composting technology with capability to process FOGO and Commercial Food Waste to support the rollout of FOGO collections across the Gippsland region and broader industry agenda to increase the diversion and recycling of organics going to landfill.
The facility has been in construction through 2025 with commissioning underway to be operational mid 2026.
The project is about transforming food and garden organics into high-quality compost and soil products that support agriculture, landscaping and long-term soil health.
